I got my first Meccano Xmas 1956 Set No6 when aged 9.
Gradually worked up to Set No9, via 6A 7a & 8A.
Rekindled interest in 1978. Started to build, photograph and video, all the manual models from 6 to 10 sets.
Used Meccano to demonstrate mechanical ideas to young design graduates at work.
Gave up serious building when camera and videos stolen.
Started to collect post war sets and literature. Collecting is now my main Meccano interest.
Try to attend shows and occasionally put on displays and give talks on Meccano.
